In reply to claire. Hello! For UPCAT passers, you can know your UPG and UPCAT score breakdown after a year (some say after a sem, but I'm not sure about this) of being in UP. If you're from UP Diliman, our professor told us that we can get it from OUR (Office of the University Registrar). If from other UP campuses, maybe you can get it from your OUR-equivalent.

Hi, I just qualified for a UP campus and so I was wondering what my UPG and UPCAT breakdown are, but I’ve noticed that they only show it to those who didn’t qualify. Is there a way I could see mine?

85 is apparently a constant deducted from HSWA.

S HSWA = 1/5 (High Sch Weighted Ave – 85)
Examples:
a) S HSWA = 1/5 (100 – 85) = 3.0
b) S HSWA = 1/5 (98 – 85) = 2.6
c) S HSWA = 1/5 (95 – 85) = 2.0
d) S HSWA = 1/5 (93 – 85) = 1.6
